RULES & REGULATIONS FOR ROOM RENTALS

The RH management is very strict with the Rules & Regulations set out to ensure exclusivity, comfort, privacy, safety & security of all our guests. Kindly respect the following rules :

1) Check in time is at 3.00pm and check out is at 12.00pm.

2) RH is a holiday home concept. There is no housekeeping or room service available during your stay. Cleaning and change of beddings can be arranged upon request at an additional charge. 

3) Strictly NO smoking & cooking is allowed in the rooms for safety & hygienic reasons. You may use the common kitchen at the Rumah Melaka where it is equipped with basic cooking utensils. Please clean the kitchen up accordingly after use. 

4) No pets are allowed in the rooms. 

5) Please arrange the furniture back to their original positions before checking out if you have moved them during your stay.

6) Kindly use the flat sheet provided (in the sofa bed compartment or on the shelf) to cover the sofa when used as bed. This is to ensure hygiene is preserved for you & the next guest. Extra towels and blankets are also provided at the same place.

7) We encourage you to sort your waste according to categories – Food/Organic waste, Paper and Plastic/Glass. Upon checking out, all wastes are to be sent to the designated rubbish collection centre. Please keep the place clean at all times. 

8) Kindly respect the privacy of others by keeping the volume down if the other guests are not your family members. 

9) Only registered live-in guests are allowed to enter, use the facilities (i.e. room, swimming pool, karaoke, etc.) and attend any gatherings unless the event spaces are rented. Kindly keep the capacity of guests according to the advised limit for safety & security reasons. Charges will be imposed and deducted from the security deposit if found the above Rules have been violated.

10) Save energy! Please do not waste electricity or water unnecessarily. Kindly switch off the lights and air condition units when you leave your room. Let’s conserve energy to save the planet.

11) You are welcome to use the pool at your own risk. Please take care of your children as there is no Life Guard available in the compound as privacy is our top priority. Only proper swim wear or jersey materials are allowed in pool to ensure water quality is preserved.Kindly use the Pool Changing Room to change or dry yourself, no wet wear is allowed outside pool deck area. Pool operation hours is 7AM to 10PM.

12) Games involving flour, eggs & glitter are not allowed.

13) The management has taken every step to ensure the safety of guests. However, any accidents or mishaps occurring during your stay is at your own liability. 

14) RH is syariah compliance. Strictly NO alcohol and pork are allowed in the compound. Immoral activities or parties are strictly prohibited.

15) A security deposit will be required upon checking in and will be forfeited following any of these events – property damage, lost of key card, missing of linen/other lose items, if the place is left in an unacceptable condition (very unclean or damaged) and others.

PAYMENT TERMS

BOOKING & RESERVATION
For individual rooms, full payment will be required to secure booking. For block booking, deposit of 50% from total payable amount is required upon booking. Balance is payable at least two (2) weeks before check-in date. If booking is made in less than 2 weeks from the scheduled check-in date, full payment is required upon booking.

For payments using credit cards, the following surcharge rate will be imposed accordingly:
Local Card Transaction fee: 1.8% per transaction
Foreign Card Transaction fee: 4.4% per transaction

REFUND & CANCELLATION
You will have full refund if cancellation is made more than 45 days from the scheduled check-in date. 10% of total payment will be charged for cancellation made in less than 45 days from scheduled check-in date. Deposit will be forfeited if cancellation is made 30 days or less from the scheduled check-in date. If payment was made with credit card, the bank fee/charges imposed when payment was made will not be refunded. In the event of force majeure, no cancellation can be made but change of date is allowed.

SECURITY DEPOST
Security deposit is required as follow:
  • RM 100.00 for 1 Bedroom Suite, Double & Single Room booking
  • RM 150.00 for 2 Bedroom Suite booking
  • RM 200.00 for 3 Bedroom Suite booking
  • RM 500.00 for 5 Rooms booking above/Block Booking

RM 500.00 for Event Space Rental

Deposit may be paid by cash, QRPay or online banking during check-in. It will be refunded to guests within 3 working days from check-out date if the property is found to be in order.

TAX
All guests will be subjected to the government Heritage Tax of RM 2.00 per room per night.All foreign guests will be subjected to the government Tourism Tax of RM10.00 per room per night

PRIVACY POLICY
When you make booking with us, we will need some personal information which may include your name, address, email and phone number for the sole purpose of our record safekeeping and contacting. Rest assured that the information given will be kept confidential and it will not be shared with other parties.

Is breakfast provided?
Yes, we provide simple breakfast basket sent to your room around 8:00 - 8:30 am according to max room capacity. 

Can we use the Hall if we block book?
Family Day block book will get complimentary use of Function Hall 1 for short term usage of light family activities (i.e. solat Jemaah, tahlil, etc.) For Corporate & Wedding Events while block booking, Halls are chargeable based on duration of usage & facilities required.

Is there any charges for the Karaoke Room?
Karaoke room will be a separate charge of RM40/hour.

Is there any charges for the BBQ pit?
We have BBQ pit & the necessary apparatus that you are welcome to use at NO charge. Just bring your marinated food & charcoal. Kindly clean up the place after use.

What are the activities we can do at RH?
Other than your family quiet bonding time, you can enjoy simple indoor games provided (play cards, ping pong, carrom) & outdoor games (badminton, ball on a string, mini archery, swimming, etc.). We also have goats, chickens, swans, ducks, peacocks and turkeys living in the compound & you can have close encounters with them too.

Does RH provide Food Packages?
For Food Packages, we have our F&B vendor who can supply for meals. They are able to set up buffet spread for groups of more than 20 pax. You may whatsapp us for more details.

Can we order from outside caterer for our event?
Yes, subject to our terms and conditions especially on the clearing and cleaning up after the event.Also strictly NO alcohol and pork is allowed.

Can we put up tents for our outdoor event?

Putting up tents on common grounds are only allowed if you block book the whole place and provision of tents have to be by our panel suppliers.
